re: "daniel interprets the dream" (dan 2:24-45)
v30 "but as for me [daniel], this mystery has not been revealed to me because of any wisdom that i have more than any other living being, but in order that the interpretation may be known to the king and that you may understand the thoughts of your mind."
reflection:
clearly, daniel admits that the gift of interpretation of dreams he has was given to him for the reason of giving peace of mind to king nebuchadnezzar and not because he
is wise as such. the gift is for a reason!
re: "spiritual gifts" (1 cor 12:1-11)
v7 "to each is given the manifestation of the Spirit FOR THE COMMON GOOD."
